The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.

The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
